There are many musicians in the world...however, U won't be able to find more than a handful of beings who are so totally involved in their art as Bansuri prodigy Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia.
His recorded heritage is monumental, and He has been awarded about every price or honorific title He could.
I would have to be Raga expert to find out a favorite among the many records I've heard of Him, which I fail to be. In other words; I am quite fond of anything baring His name!
I thought this 4 Cds set of live captures, Krishnadwani
would make for a gr8t introductory post to classical Indian repertoire,
