Music is the essential link between nations, families and friends. Music is what has been keeping us from animality and demonization. Expressing the needs of the soul, music elevates us to the realms of Spirit. Sharing music, even just records, is a natural act of Unification.
This blog is fed with my all time favorites. The cream of the cream in my own recipe. Music from all ages and horizons that stirs my soul and lightens my life. I also share with U the most interesting topics for me, in words and pictures...Check out the pages below... for a change.

128 - Open The Gate - Lee Scratch Perry & Friends

There is always some part of myth associated to the actual facts when it comes to a figure such as Lee Scratch Perry.
His genius for giving birth to the reggae/dub genre is undeniable,
as much as his lack of scruples to exploit the talents of too many young artists
for his sole profit, acting as a shark in the business arena. Go figure.
Conjectures will remain among those who live in conjectures. Others will move on and delight on records such as Open The Gate . Truly one piece of pure gold in the pantheon of absolutely awesome Jamaican music.

14 - Brazil Classics Vol.1 - Beleza Tropical - Various Artists

It's one of those days...Uno...P.A.S effect! So, I feel like an egg that was just crushed in a hot pan...boiling and wanting to be cooked.
While hypnotized humanity keeps on voting and watching TV,
I witness in solitude the last hours of a World.
Life's getting heavier by the day and without the support of MUSIC,
I would have gone nuts long ago, dudes!
In Times Like These...!!!, music is THE muse indeed...to inspire us towards higher realms of existence...to lead our mind back to the Heart space. To bring ENTHUSIASM back in days like today! Nada Brahma!

Grab the goodness in Alac

Don't be mislead by the "Various Artists" thing...this is THE one-of-a-kind album published by David Byrne of Talking Heads...on his own label. In an effort to promote 'other' music, Mr Byrne went on publishing himself this totally awesome compil. and further works of Brazilian and Latin music in the 80s.
Best artists, best songs...best Brazilian album in my vault.
Perfect answer to my nervous situation today.

CARAMBA! I'm feeling much better here !!

N'joy this post... don't be shy, let me know!
