I stumbled upon a guy demonstrating the hang in the street market, one Sunday of 2004 in Tel-Aviv. Immediately entranced, I wished to get one. Shortly after, one of my students acquired one along with a monochord, brilliant!...sadly, we didn't find much time to use them.

Yes, Handpan (hang, halo, etc..) music is great. It is difficult to record as well. So, if you get to hear it live you are in for a treat.
