102 - A Tábua De Esmeralda - Jorge Ben

Gosh! I haven't posted this yet?!
Some records have more impact on our lives that we would guess at first.
A Tábua De Esmeralda is one such record. This Jorge Ben masterpiece came from the Iriver of my Irish dude from Goa, Dom the drummer... that is when We first met on Om beach, early 2006.

A lot many things took a turn for me after this meeting,

Musically, I had been immersed in Jamaican music from di ghetto, for 3 full years,

listening almost exclusively to reggae.

And that was bound to change, after I got entranced by the Brazilian fever!

Of course, this album has received glorious amount of over-enthusiastic

reviews since it's pressing...

Now if U've never heard this sound...
