Voila! I have been through the whole thing of re-uploading. I found out during the process that my links were being killed faster than my uploading rate.
I wonder what's left of the work I just finished in fact, and I now have to verify all the links to find out. So I decided to get an account on 4Shared.com in order to get my very own uploading space and hopefully a much more durable and safer space to host the files for this blog thingy.

Well, wait until U get them playing and U'll also feel it is deserved. Or at least U should.
a very brilliant record by american trumpeter Don Cherry and North Indian percussionist Latif Khan.
A raw, earthly, yet smooth and sweet Music Sangam(Convergence).
Whether this album is as good as I think it is or just touches me in some way, it's hard to know. You'll just have to get it and listen for yourself. I remember hearing it in the 1980s and couldn't find out which album it was; only now have I managed to get hold of a copy. A prototype of "world music," it's laceratingly beautiful and hypnotic. Shankar's string playing is supremely evocative, mystical whilst not being New Agey, and Jan Garbarek's lyrical sax is serene and haunting. The title track is a master work, and the whole album gets better the more you listen to it.
On "Breath" ("Nefes" in Turkish), the third release in the four part series that began with "Nar" ("Fire") and continued with "Su" ("Water"), Mercan Dede infuses his listeners with the refreshing quality of air. Although "Nefes" incorporates elements that can be traced to Mercan Dede´s previous two releases, the boundary breaking musical experimentation captured on the album results in a sound all its own. Melancholic and cheerful, on this album Mercan Dede carries out an organic fusion that captures the magic of the East, mystical elements, electronic tones, and traditional instrumentation.

For instance, my dream since I started posting In Times Like These...!!! was to get hold of a lossless copy of any Build An Ark record and bring it to Blogland's most enthusiastic diggaz attention.
Why? Simply cos it's not there on the freeweb yet...no-where...no torrent...NOTHING!
How could this be? Dawn is one of the best records I've ever heard,
and I am really not making this up.
So to make a short story even shorter, I finally threw some money in
a web-music-shop...downloaded those 100% legal Flac files...and... here they are!
